• ALU (American Leak University):
We understand it is hard to retain everything you learned in your initial training. That is why ALU is here to offer refresher courses in everything from day-to-day operations, to marketing, to relationship development with local contractors. Of course, this is all offered at ZERO charge to you, the franchisee.

• You Are Surrounded:
From your fellow ALD franchisee in the next city or state to the ALD headquarters in Palm Springs, California, someone will always be available to talk with you and answer any questions you might have. Think of it as a safety net that most business owners can only dream of.

• Quarterly Newsletter:
Not only do we keep you informed through our Intranet site, we also publish a quarterly newsletter that provides you with in-depth articles about issues relating to you and the American Leak Detection system.

• Annual Convention:
Once a year we bring our franchisees from around the world together for four days of peer-to-peer networking, technical training, and meetings with business and industry experts. Training and Education

No Experience Needed
We are often asked if franchisees are required to have a background in plumbing or pipe work. The answer is, no. While knowledge of the fields may serve as an advantage, it is by no means necessary.

Our comprehensive, six-week training program will teach you everything you need to know, including:

• Marketing and business management tools and techniques
• Navigation through our all-encompassing operations manual

Since 1974, we have learned to leverage our relationships to develop a marketing program that makes it cost-effective to advertise. We have sought multiple avenues in traditional and non-traditional marketing to effectively inform and attract our clientele when they need our services. Above all, with all of our marketing efforts, we have made a very conscious effort to maintain our brand standards. You will be provided with a variety of creative and sophisticated marketing materials to both utilize and disperse wherever you go. These include:

A large portion of our business is the result of referral marketing. In already established regions, we are well known by the people who need our services most. In new territories, we can help you establish these relationships.
